Tintin Figurine Moulinsart 42259 Herge En Costume - King Ottokar’s Sceptre 12cm Resin Figure

Produced by Tintinimaginatio in 2025. The figurine depicts Hergé as an unnamed officer of the Syldavian court, based on his appearance in the Tintin album King Ottokar's Sceptre (1939).

Like Hitchcock, who appeared furtively in his films, Hergé was also cunning at inserting himself into an adventure. In King Ottokar’s Sceptre (page 38, vignette D1), he does just that. He can be seen to the right hand side of the Palace’s Festival Gallery of King Muskar XII wearing an impressive green uniform. Its complete with gold epaulets and sash. It was a grand event, Bianca Castafiore was giving a private concert for the King.

He is here as a simple spectator—that he witnesses the arrest of his hero. Oh, yes Tintin has burst in, trying to inform the King of the immediate danger of…please just read the whole story, its thrilling you will not disappointed.
