This book was acquired in a flea market in Belgium in 1980s, the certification is in the fact that the artwork and signature is unmistakably by Herge himself. 

This is the original 1960 1st Belgian Edition printed by Casterman with an original drawing of Tintin and Snowy and signed dedication by Herge. Rare and collectible book. Rare Tintin items like this are gaining in value right now due to scarcity and age. 

CONDITION: Excellent condition considering age. Cover is very nice overall with minor wear only in places, edges/corners have some rubbing wear, spine is superb minor wear only. Pages are excellent and all there with some minor yellowing in places. Small blue ink ticks next to title names on back cover. No other scribbles or inscriptions throughout. Please see pictures.
