...Tintin and Snowy travel to Great Britain to investigate a counterfeiting ring. They save a man from being attacked by a mysterious creature and stumble upon a gang's hideout in the Black Island. Tintin uncovers a counterfeiting operation and is kidnapped. He escapes and with the help of Snowy and a Scottish bagpiper, the group confronts and captures the gang. Tintin and Snowy feel pride in their successful mission and perseverance in the face of danger.
