This is the original 1943 1st Belgian Edition printed by Casterman. Extremely Rare and collectible book. Rare Tintin items like this are gaining in value right now due to scarcity and age.
CONDITION: Good condition considering age and rarity. Cover is nice with some rubbing wear and wear to edges/corners. Rear cover is good with a few small marks. Spine has been restored at the bottom with red tape but is otherwise nice and all there with only minor wear. Pages are very nice and all there with only faint yellowing/blotching, 3 pages have small tears to bottom/centre. No drawings or scribbles throughout. Please see pictures. I have tried to show as many of the defects as possible.
