This is the original 1947 1st Belgian Colour Edition printed by Casterman. In hardback format with red cloth spine.

Rare Tintin items like this are gaining in value right now due to scarcity and age. 

CONDITION: Good condition considering age and rarity. Cover is decent with rubbing wear and small marks in places, edges/corners have shelf wear, spine is very good for these old editions with some wear and scuffing in places. Pages are good overall and all there. They have some yellowing to them and blotch marks in places. First inner pages have some damage to the centre. No scribbles or inscriptions throughout.
