This is the original 1946 1st Belgian Colour Edition printed by Casterman. In hardback format with red cloth spine.

Rare Tintin items like this are gaining in value right now due to scarcity and age. 

CONDITION: Fair condition considering age and rarity. Cover is good with some rubbing wear and small marks in places, edges/corners have some shelf wear, spine is very good for these old editions with some wear and scuffing in places, some cracking to top. Pages are ddecent overall and all there. They have some yellowing to them and blotch marks in places, many have small to medium tears to bottom/sides. First inner pages have some damage to the centre. No scribbles or inscriptions throughout. Please see pictures.
