Jacobs in 1946, reprinted after his death in 1987 first by Bob de Moor, then Jean Van Hamme, Ted Benoit, Yves Sente, André Juillard, René Sterne, Chantal De Spiegeleer, Jean Dufaux, Antoine Aubin, Étienne Schréder, José-Louis Bocquet and Jean-Luc Fromental3. Originally published by Éditions du Lombard, it is now published by Éditions Blake et Mortimer, a subsidiary of the Media participations group. It was pre-published for many years in Le Journal de Tintin of which it was, along with other series such as Les Aventures de Tintin, Ric Hochet, Michel Vaillant or the works of Jacques Martin, one of the most popular series.
